Great news everyone.  I met with Mr. Daly and filled him in on how wonderful PJHS Orchestras are, he is excited to meet all of you and get to work at Parkside.  He is not intending on keeping the blog, but instead wanting to have a website, as soon as I have that web address I will direct you there.  Hope you are having a great summer! ~Boyd

Pool Party CANCELLED!

The Summer Music Pool Party (which was rescheduled for tonight) is CANCELLED due to the cold temperatures expected this evening.  We are sorry it didn't work out for us this year.
Enjoy your summer and thanks for coming to Unit 5 Summer Music!!!

Congrats!

Congrats to all the students who participated in Summer Strings.  The concert turned out really well.  It always amazes me how the students can pull off such a nice performance with only 5 days of rehearsals!!!

Pool Party - CANCELLED

The Summer Band & Strings Pool Party for tonight has been CANCELLED.  We are rescheduling for SUNDAY, June 12th from 8:30-10:30 p.m. @ Fairview.

Introducing....

Your NEW Orchestra Teacher...... Mr. Jonathan Daly!!!  Mr. Daly is a recent Illinois Wesleyan grad and prior to college attended Unit 5 Schools and graduated from Normal Community High School.  Currently Mr. Daly is overseas traveling, but once he returns I will ask him to guest blog and introduce himself to you all!!!
